My father spent a few days in the hospital, having fallen down a short flight of stairs in the middle of the night. Aside from a wicked set of stitches running along the top of his entire left eyebrow, he also broke 6 ribs and his shoulder blade. He's home now, probably driving my mother crazy ( Read more... )

Well, two of them. Heading back to Vegas on Sunday for a 3 days. My hotel sent me a great offer and Andy told me to go for it. So I did. $89 for 2 nights hotel, $10 gambling and $40 food credit. I added 1 more hotel night for $31 and after I combined the hotel reservations they refunded the 3rd night back to my card. Fingers crossed that it's ( Read more... )

that the transit strike is over? Not that we have any buses yet, but they're working on it. Should be able to bus to work starting next week. And for free at first. Yeah, there's the kicker.
